How to get Epic reading for free? ›

If your child's teacher is using Epic at school, you can log in to use Epic for free from 7am to 3pm local time, M-F, using the class code from your teacher.

How can I find my class code? When you log into Epic on the web or from your mobile device, you can find your class code on the Dashboard tab. Your class code is an auto-generated 7-character alphanumeric password that is completely unique to you and your students!

Is there any way for my students to read after 3 p.m.? Yes! Your students and their families can use Epic before and after school and on weekends by subscribing to Epic Unlimited.

You can also pre-pay and buy an annual plan for $71.99. Epic does have an unpaid version, called Epic Free, which can be used as a limited free trial to see if Epic is right for your family. Although free, you should know it does place some significant limits on access. Users only get access to a selection of the Epic!
